Since October 2018, we have been proudly farming red deer. The Deer are well suited to the landscape at Glenkilrie and we are passionate about producing high quality venison, consistent in flavour. This nutrient dense, lean meat is so versatile and we are keen to demonstrate that venison isn’t just for restaurants but can be a staple in your diet.
Here at Glenkilrie we are dedicated to producing top-quality Aberdeen Angus beef. Reared on our land in Highland Perthshire the cattle thrive in this diverse landscape which, is so well suited to livestock production whilst working in harmony with the environment. Our care and commitment result in beef that is not only tender but packed with flavour.
The Glenkilrie flock is combined of Blackface and Cheviot sheep. Ewes graze the hills and fields with their lambs all summer, before the lambs are turned onto the best of grass and clover. They are finished on forage crops and herbs in the autumn and winter months. Producing lean and tasty lamb from some of Scotland’s most beautiful and rugged countryside.
